Dear PIONeers:

Response to the question of having a demonstration of Hands-On Universe at a
PION meeting has been great, with 100% in favor.  There was also a clear
majority in favor of having the meeting at Sonoma State University.

So plan on coming to SSU Saturday, 22 February 1997, for a presentation by the
people who run this exciting program.  (See http://hou.lbl.gov/ for a
preview.)  Note that there will be no meeting in January because of the
national AAPT meeting in Phoenix.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the PION meeting this Saturday, 7
December 1996, in Geyserville.
