East Bay Physics Alliance purpose

The purpose is to support interaction between Physics and Science
Teachers in K-12 Schools and Physics Teachers and Researchers in
Colleges, Universities, National Laboratories and Industry.

The geographical focus is on the East part of the San Francisco Bay.

Local physics alliances across the country serve as informal
professional societies where high school teachers, college teachers
and researchers from an area can share ideas and have a good time
together.

The Local Physics Alliances Project is operated by the American
Physical Society.
