Instructions for sending mail

The address for people to *POST* East Bay Physics Alliance email,
with the mail going to *EVERYONE* on the list, is:

	physics-alliance@lbl.gov

All members are allowed to post to this address.  The current
membership is 35 people.


Instructions for adding and deleting list members

The standard way to add new people is for themselves to send mail to

    physics-alliance-request@lbl.gov
    (*NOTE* the "-request" in that address!)

with the subject 'subscribe'.  When they want off, use 'unsubscribe'.

Example mailer session looks like this:
	To: physics-alliance-request@lbl.gov
	Subject: subscribe
That is all.

People comfortable with the mail will be able to do this. If you have
people who are not familiar, get their electronic mail addresses and I
will have them added to the list.

For LBLers only:  such name-adding requests go to postmaster@lbl.gov, Jake.


Instructions for getting a list of the members

To get a personal copy of the list of members, send mail to

    physics-alliance-request@lbl.gov
    (*NOTE* the "-request" in that address!)

with the subject field set to 'archive get dist'
In several minutes the distribution list should come to you.
