Frederic Kral" Subject: East Bay Physics Alliance - propose next meeting at LBL Dear East Bay Physics people, From Howard Matis at LBL: LBL would be delighted to hold the next meeting. We would do March,(if no one else would volunteer), If not we could do May. We propose two topics: 1) Surfing the Internet: We have many workstations with access to the internet. We could show how teachers could use this important resource. 2) We have a visual UV detector, which is very pretty. It can be used to show what devices block UV radiation. We could find enough to distribute small samples it to all participants. Given the many physics projects in progress at LBL, many other subjects could be considered. Input will be gathered at the U.C. Hayward meeting. Regards, Fred -) J.F. Kral, Lawrence Berkeley Lab, finger JFKral@LBL.Gov, 1-510-486-7435 (-
