Science Community:

How about this for a proposed name, courtesy Fred: PEBBLES - Physics in the
East Bay:  Bridging Laboratory and Educational Sites.  Comments anyone?
Before January 9, it would be useful to have a proposed site and time for a
March? through May? meeting.
Volunteer your time, energy, abilities:
o Jan. 9: photographer and writer to put together 1 page, 1-side description
of evening conference.
o Print and mail it out to AAPT list and green list.
o Sponsor and fund March/April/or May meeting.  Or do we need to collect $5
from people who come?  Do you have concrete suggestions as to what you'd like
to do?
o Talks you'd like to give at the spring meeting (of the half hour, more or
less, variety, about physics or how to teach it)?  
o Make and takes in mind?
o Meetings next school year (end of September or October) you'd like to host
or help with?
o Other questions you wish to look at/other activities you'd like to
participate in/schools you'd like to volunteer in (grade level/geographical
area/type of volunteer)/suggestions you'd like to make? 
Lab people: are evenings or Saturday mornings better for you?
